The cleanest release points the old URL directly at the final relevant destination. A browser can follow more, but every additional hop adds latency and another configuration that can fail.

Can this find a redirect loop?

Yes. The fetcher follows redirects manually with a strict hop limit and validates every destination. A loop or exceeded limit returns a failed page with the chain already collected as evidence.

Does the tool create redirect rules automatically?

No. It proves how live URLs behave. Automatic deployment would be unsafe without knowing server precedence and content correspondence; any rule generated later must remain reviewable and tested.
